I'm a writer working in technical theatre, crafting a first-person folk historical narrative about traveling performers, artists, artisans and laborers in the service of culture and the business of entertainment.

I was born on January 5th, 1980 in Worcester, Massachusetts (USA).
I lived as a small child near the St. Croix River in Hudson, Wisconsin. When I entered first grade, my family moved to Long Island, New York (the Huntington area) where we stayed until I graduated high school. I moved to Baltimore in 1998 to attend an art college, but dropped out and got into computers instead.
I moved around a lot on my own after that: a year working in Hell's Kitchen and living in East Williamsburg (Brooklyn, NY), two years working with my brother (a stained glass artist) in Pittsburgh, two years in Seattle and a month in Arcata, California (Humboldt county) before returning to Baltimore about two years ago.
